Company Personnel - Enthusiasm & Commitment At Every Level
Conrad Nelstrop added "much of the success of the business
is due to the enthusiasm and complementary skills of our
management team, which has been enhanced by a co-operative
workforce willing to take on new technology". The 'team'
includes Conrad Syers, the first of the sixth generation, as
Technical Director, assisted by John Giles, who is himself a
second generation flour miller and began his career with
Simon. Flour sales are headed by Steve Tracey, assisted by his
son Paul and the Chairman's son Matthew. The General Manager,
Brian Martin, brings experience in bread making to a business
dedicated to serving some of the most discerning bakers in the
region.
Administration of the business is managed by
Commercial Manager Damon Escott, who has been responsible for
the introduction and implementation of an advanced IT system,
thus ensuring the competitiveness of the company.
The Company Secretary is Steven Ellwood, who took over these
duties after the tragic death of Paul Nelstrop while he was on
holiday in South East Asia in February 2000.
